These are arithmetic tools. You type in numbers you already know — what’s in the bank, what comes in, what goes out — and we run them forward and tell you in plain English what they add up to. That’s the whole trick. There is no model here, and no artificial intelligence: the same numbers give the same answer every time, and the answer is one you could reach yourself with a spreadsheet and an afternoon.
The tools are free. One deeper read is paid.
It knows exactly what you typed and nothing else.
It doesn’t know that August is always slow for you. It doesn’t know the customer who pays sixty days late no matter what the invoice says. It doesn’t know about the job you just landed, the truck that’s about to need a transmission, or the line of credit you haven’t drawn on. You know all of that, and we don’t.
So if a number here surprises you, the first thing to check is whether we were told something that isn’t quite right. A tool that runs on estimates gives you an answer with the same amount of certainty in it that the estimates had. It’s important that you inspect what you expect.
The honest part
Where we draw the line between comfortable and thin is our judgment, not a rule of accounting. There is no statute that says a plumbing company is fine at one number and in trouble at another.
We picked those lines from experience, and we think they’re sensible. But your bank, your accountant, or your own gut may draw them somewhere else, and any of them could be right. Treat a verdict here as an informed opinion about your numbers, because that is what it is.
This matters most near the edges. A result that lands close to one of our lines could sit on either side of it if one of your figures moved a little. When something reads as borderline, it probably is — go look at it rather than trusting the badge.
These tools are free. Your numbers never leave this page — the only thing that ever leaves is an email address you type in yourself, and we couldn’t see your figures if we tried. Your figures are gone when you close the tab.

Ask for your money back and you’ll get it. We won’t ask you why, we won’t try to talk you out of it, and there is no form. One email is enough.
